Toby S. Myerson

Our founder, Toby Myerson, has held top management positions in a career spanning four decades, most recently as Partner and as Co-Chair of Global Mergers and Acquisitions at the New York based international law firm of Paul, Weiss, Rifkind, Wharton & Garrison LLP. During his tenure at Paul, Weiss, Mr. Myerson served for more than 15 years as a member of senior management and as a leader of the corporate practice.

He was previously an investment banker and Managing Director at the boutique investment firm Wasserstein Perella & Co., Inc., heading the operations of that firm in Japan and Asia and providing financial, investment banking and M&A advice.

Mr. Myerson received his B.A. from Yale University and his J.D. from Harvard Law School.

Mr. Myerson has managed and grown client relationships and businesses across the globe. He has assisted CEOs, senior executives, boards of directors and business owners with some of the most high profile and successful merger, acquisition, divestiture and takeover transactions of the last four decades. He has assisted companies from around the world in the defense of activist campaigns and has advised on governance issues and corporate crises. Mr. Myerson has also counseled public and private companies through the resolution of significant disputes and business problems.

Mr. Myerson’s years of experience serving as a member of the board of directors of for-profit and not-for-profit corporations have given him valuable insight into a board’s perspective on governance issues and the proper means of achieving corporate goals.
